OK, it has most def been a minute over here. It's been dope to see everyone getting involved with the Beats by Dre giveaway. Here is a bit of what's been going on lately.

The past month and a bit we have been working on the artwork for my new album, The BirthWrite LP. Melanie Greenwood from VisonCity.biz - out of California - has been grinding it out in the studio, putting the 'work' in artwork and putting up with my obsessive compulsive disorder (bless her soui)... and FINALLY we have it nailed. Mel and I have worked together on all my art and design stuff from logos/branding, down to every last detail of the art direction on my projects. She recently won an award for her work - which is outstanding - make sure to check her out for your design needs.

This Friday my Rashions - Rebecca Black styles - I will be unveiling The BirthWrite LP artwork, tracklisting, guest appearances and producers.

I just got off the phone with my man Shortop - Edmonton's finest turntablist - I have been added to the bill, 11th hour style, for the Sese show at Brixx Bar & Grill (Starlite Room) in Edmonton, AB tomorrow night. Shortop will be spinning all night with performances by some other dope Edmonton acts. It's always good to see Shortop, he's a close friend and ill DJ. We def don't get to see eachother enough. Come on out and party with us tomorrow night!

It's Friday! You know how I know? THIS is how I know... I am just about to fire up the grill and get my eats on with the homie Heywood. Before we do that I wanted to bust out a quick update for y'aaaalllll. We got BRAND NEW CUSTOM RASH GRAFFITI HATS in this morning from my boy Jeff Goring (aka Sonz) over at SonzofGod.com. Jeff is a super ill graff artist from Toronto and has been doing his thing for over a decade. He has travelled around the world painting and b-boying as part of the world famous Supernaturalz crew. To hometown boys The Sheepdogs for winning the Rolling Stones cover contest! I grew up with Ryan (dude with the headband). I always knew he would be a cover model one day.

Hollaaa. It's been a minute since I blogged. I am watching the Jays game right now and I am starving. Brett Lawrie is a beast. I love his game.

Summer has been really dope. I played at the Saskatoon Reggae Festival after party at Lydia's last weekend. Super cool vibe and a packed out pub, perfect ingredients for a dope show. I gave away a ton of CDs. Next time you come out to a show make sure you hit me up for a copy!

September is gonna be exciting! I will be debuting the artwork and tracklisting for The BirthWrite LP (make sure you check back here next month to peep) as well as submitting the "Cocaine Cowboy" video to MuchMusic. I'm also looking at plans for shooting another music video before the summer is out. Wooord.

I have to go do laundry now.
